Downloaded and flashed!

21888 is brilliant and this rom is just another piece of art!

I love the greenish/blackish background.    Grin

Running smooooothly!  The icons are adorable.  100% compatible with my preferred additional apps...  Of course I created my Okie-style home like usual (with the above mentioned background).

Thanks for the feedback  Smiley. Think this rom might be a bit too fat for most users but i'm quite liking it. It also nice to use some samsung apps (there are no HTCAlbum/audio manager etc etc) and i'm quite digging samsung today 2 as well  Grin.

Anyway, i think my ideal rom is somewhere in between this and 21888. The omnia is a very capable phone that can handle a lot of apps, and personally i don't think cooking a few more apps slows it down a lot (maybe a little  Wink)

Would love some feedback on what programs to keep in the "ultimate" rom (thanks to Mike for the Idea)

Currently, I'm flashing at least 5 times a week.  I've tested them all:  the lean ones, the fat ones, with M2D, without M2D, etc.

This is important for me:

-  a really good response to my stylus!
-  the possibility to generate my Okie-style today screen
-  compatibility with my favourite apps
-  nice surprises regarding hidden apps which are often small and working great
-  weather for at least 5 locations (here I sometimes miss the M2D tab)    Grin
Edit:
-  an always reliable and responsive rom!   Smiley

I know what you mean with little apps that surprise you.. Below is a quote from blackmeto, from Mike's thread.. This app transforms the standard file manager so that there is no need for 3rd party filemanagers. This will be cooked in all my future roms, Thankyou!!!!

^cool i am about to try ur controller skin today

also there is a new file explorer extension mike!

ChangeLog:
2010/01/17 [V2.06]

* ROM files are also modified to display module
* ROM can paste modified to overwrite the file
* Modified to change the column width can not be wrong
* WM6.5 compatible
* Add operations in WM6.5

When it comes to file operations, the default Windows Mobile File Explorer is quite limited. This is a freeware by Hou Ming that addresses all the missing features that should have been included in the Windows Mobile stock File Explorer.

Here are some of the fantastic “must have” features it adds:

# Resizable header for easy sorting by file name, date of last modification or size
# Tree view of folders; you can now jump easily from a location to any other on your device in one step
# Show extension option for those who ask themselves the same question I do: “What type of file is this?
# Icon view that enables the display of files as icons similar to your desktop computer
# Real time image preview; now you don’t have to open several files in order to send the one you desire
# Open with Program allows you easily select an application to open the specific file you select (useful in case you don’t have the correct file associations or when you want Album app to open your images instead of Windows default picture viewer.
# File property context menu for easy renaming and attribute changing
# Open all executables with Parameters in case you need a special parameter when launching an application
# Sending shortcut to Programs for instant shortcut creation of executables placed directly in Programs folder in Start Menu.
